JAZZIZ – Vocalist Denise Donatelli Aligns with American Heart Association

MULTIPLE GRAMMY NOMINEE VOCALIST DENISE DONATELLI ALIGNS WITH THE AMERICAN HEART ASSOCIATION 

Multiple Grammy nominee vocalist Denise Donatelli has aligned with the American Heart Association (AHA) to bring awareness to their cause.  As part of the new association, Donatelli will donate a portion of proceeds from her new album Find A Heart, and upcoming CD release event Sept. 24 at Catalina Jazz Club, to support the AHA’s mission of building healthier lives, free of heart disease and stroke.   She will also sing the National Anthem at the forthcoming 2015 Los Angeles Heart Walk, Saturday, Sept. 26.  Over 15,000 people are expected to participate in the annual event, which takes place at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena.

Donatelli’s decision to become a spokesperson for the American Heart Association stems from the tragedy of her son’s passing seven years ago due in part to heart disease.  In commenting Denise stated:  “ It is my hope to help raise awareness through my personal experience, to support the efforts of the American Heart Association in any way I can be of benefit, and to pay heartfelt tribute to the memory of my beloved son.”

Nichole Guzman, Vice President of Business Development for the AHA Los Angeles Division has said “We welcome Denise to our American Heart Association family and look forward to her participation in helping raise awareness for heart disease”.
