Denise Donatelli

Denise Donatelli is a three-time GRAMMY® nominated jazz vocalist celebrated for her warm, expressive voice, impeccable musicianship and deeply personal interpretations of contemporary and classic songs. A Los Angeles-based artist, Donatelli has built a distinguished recording career, earning GRAMMY® nominations for her albums When Lights Are Low, Soul Shadows and Find a Heart. She was also named Jazz Vocalist of the Year by the Los Angeles Jazz Society.

Donatelli’s music is distinguished by a willingness to move beyond traditional jazz repertoire, bringing contemporary songwriting, Brazilian music, pop and the Great American Songbook into an unmistakably jazz-centered world. Her longtime musical partnership with GRAMMY® winning pianist, arranger and producer Geoffrey Keezer has been an integral part of her acclaimed recordings.

Her latest album, Take My Breath Away (2026), reunites Donatelli with Keezer for an expansive collection that blends sophisticated jazz, Brazilian influences, contemporary songcraft and intimate balladry. The album features music by artists and composers including Stevie Wonder, James Taylor, George Duke, Jobim, Eliane Elias and Irving Berlin, with a stellar ensemble of leading jazz musicians. Released by Savant Records, the recording represents another chapter in Donatelli’s continuing evolution as an artist. 

Donatelli’s discography also includes Whistling in the Dark: The Music of Burt Bacharach, produced by four-time GRAMMY® winner Larry Klein, as well as Find a Heart, Soul Shadows, When Lights Are Low, What Lies Within and In the Company of Friends. Her voice has also been heard in television and commercial work, including appearances connected with The Simpsons, Frasier, Turner Classic Movies, Mazda, and TV Guide.
